Have you ever gone to a Chinese restaurant without eating stir-fry green beans? Well, you might be missing out. Chinese stir-fry green beans are probably one of the tastiest and most popular vegetable dishes to order.
If you haven’t had them before, they are basically green beans that are shallow fried in hot oil, then sautéed with minced garlic and sometimes minced pork. The key to getting the signature blistered beans are cooking it in hot oil.
This is my home version of it so instead of deep frying the beans, I shallow-fry them. I am not a fan of deep-frying at home as it wastes a lot of oil and can get quite messy. We like to go out for deep fried foods instead.
These green beans were from my parent’s vegetable garden so they are organic and extra yummy! Thanks to all their hard work year after year!
