Matcha Almond Shake

This matcha smoothie blends the earthy richness of green tea with the natural sweetness of sweet potato and the nutty depth of walnuts. Creamy almond ties it all together for a smooth and energizing drink.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Yield: 2 cups

Ingredients

  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup sweet potato, peeled, steamed and cooled
  • 1/8 cup walnuts
  • 1.5 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2 cups almond milk

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix matcha powder and hot water together until smooth
  2. Add banana, sweet potato, walnuts, almond milk along with the matcha mixture into a blender.
  3. Blend for 10 seconds and pulse 3 times.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
