Avocado Matcha Smoothie

This smoothie is a creamy, plant-based blend of earthy matcha and rich avocado, lightly sweetened with honey and finished with a subtle nutty hint of walnut. It’s a refreshing, nutrient-packed drink with a smooth, velvety texture.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time:

Yield: 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups oat or almond milk
  • 2 walnut pieces
  • 1/2 large avocado or 1 small avocado
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 tbsp hot water

Directions:

  1. Mix matcha and hot water in a small bowl. Make sure any lumps have disappeared and a smooth matcha paste is formed.
  2. Pour milk into blender’s glass/plastic container.
  3. Add in walnuts, avocado and honey. Stir in matcha paste.
  4. Blend for 10 seconds, then pulsing it 2-3 times.
  5. Pour smoothie into desired cups.
  6. Enjoy!
