Matcha Almond Shake

For all the down-to-earth people out there, this shake is for you! Its strong, earthy, and nutty flavour comes from the matcha, almond milk, walnuts and sweet potato. Pair it with a muffin or two, and you’ll be off for a healthy adventure!

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup sweet potato, cooked/steamed and unpeeled
  • 1/8 cup walnuts
  • 1.5 tsp matcha powder
  • 2 tbsp hot water
  • 2 cups almond milk

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, mix matcha powder and hot water together until smooth
  2. Add banana, sweet potato, walnuts, almond milk along with the matcha mixture into a blender.
  3. Blend for 10 seconds and pulse 3 times.
  4. Serve and enjoy!
